The Foundation
Character Lines was founded in 1996 by Eric Leon Jenkins
with a significant message at its core:
“It’s about character, not color.”
The brand was created to challenge societal divisions and elevate the importance of integrity, respect, and personal values over appearance and skin color.
After Eric Leon Jenkins’ passing in 2001, Character Lines was inherited by Eric McKenzie Jenkins II. Join our journey in furthering the legacy, revitalizing the brand’s visual identity and introducing a modern vintage style - expanding its message for a new generation, proudly preserving the original message
“It’s About Character, Not Color.”
